Why This Is Personal
I'm Rami, the founder of Humaloom.
I'm a software engineer with a PhD in Computer Science and years of experience teaching at the university level. But the reason I built Humaloom goes back much further than my career.
Coming from a working-class background, I saw early on how access to quality education shapes the trajectory of a person's life. Growing up, I spent my free time tutoring and coaching kids in my community — and what I saw changed how I think about learning forever.
One was an 11-year-old who had fallen behind for years. Within weeks of personalized coaching, they caught up in math. Another was a 17-year-old whose path to college came down to one final qualifying exam. Three weeks of focused, tailored support gave them the confidence and knowledge to pass. They went on to attend college, graduate, and build a career. They still thank me today.

It combines everything I know about AI, everything I've learned from years of teaching, and everything I believe about what happens when people are equipped with the skills they deserve.
